Free 15-minute consultation. No pressure, no commitment.
You can love your family deeply and still need support.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist and the daughter of immigrant parents from India. I grew up in Canada navigating the same competing messages many South Asian people experience:
That lived experience informs my work, but it doesn't define yours. There is no single "South Asian experience." My role isn't to tell you what your culture should mean to you. It's to understand what it means to you.

Raising children between cultures, intergenerational conflict, and moving from control toward connection.
In-law boundaries, differing expectations, intercultural and interfaith relationships, and rebuilding trust.

Only if you want to. Culturally responsive therapy means I understand the context without assuming it's the issue. Some clients want to explore family and cultural dynamics in depth. Others come for anxiety, work stress or a relationship and never focus on culture at all. You lead.
No. What you share is confidential, with the narrow legal exceptions around safety that I'll explain in our first session. Sessions can also be held online from wherever you feel most private.
Yes. I offer secure video sessions anywhere in Ontario, and in-person sessions at the Vaughan (Woodbridge) office. Many clients mix both depending on the week.
Completely. You don't need a diagnosis, a crisis, or the right words to start. "Something isn't working anymore" is enough to begin a conversation.
